Erik Anderson

Erik started in Hollywood in 1997 as an independent filmmaker, focusing on special effects and post-production.  It was the start of the digital revolution, and as Erik learned to cut film, he created new post production workflows that were entirely digital.  His unique experience in digital workflows led to a three-year stint with iTunes, just as they were expanding into video.  While expanding the iTunes video store globally, Erik managed all major media formats and authored many of the procedures and specification now considered industry-standard. He founded Premiere to bring large-scale, economical distribution solutions to the marketplace that benefit the entire industry, including the major Studios, individual filmmakers as well as global and local video platforms.  Premiere Digital’s growth has skyrocketed ever since, with Premiere playing a pivotal role in every major advancement in entertainment distribution technology to become a dominant industry provider.
